EU approves workgroup for spending Russian assets

BRUSSELS, Feb 15 (PRIME) -- The E.U. permanent representatives have approved establishment of a workgroup to consider using frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine on Wednesday, the representation of Sweden said on its Twitter blog.

The office said on Tuesday that the workgroup would localize and assess the amount of the assets, and will consider the possibilities and financial, legal, economic and political feasibility of their use.

The workgroup will be chaired by CEO of the Swedish National Board of Trade Anders Anlid.
